Devil is in the detail they say. What an interesting journey it has been! The voyage began over 40 years ago in 1981, in different roles and countries, with a myriad of experiences. From my tenure at Oberoi Hotels and Resorts, where I ascended to the role of President at Trident Hotels, to my enriching experiences, in partnership with renowned hotel groups like Sheraton, Intercontinental, and Hilton, finally culminating with my role as Deputy Managing Director at Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd and Co-Promoter/Director of Carnation Hotels.

I learnt in the classroom, or by cloning some icons, as well as from my teams and guests. Politicians of different hues and owners of my managed hotels helped hone my skills and provided me with an exposure to social and cultural diversities. While Oberoi Hotels and Resorts was all about a focus on quality and luxury, the decade in Lemon Tree Hotels opened my eyes to the world of differently abled persons and the business model of hospitality with precision and focus. Both companies excelled in their quest for quality and caring experiences for both the internal and external customers, as well as stake holders.

The twin tenures exposed me to learnings about design, brands and branding theories, HR practices-with their myths and benefits. I would love to share these with you or to engage and help you in your journey.
